Introducing The Money: a finely crafted, harmony-driven, slick and stylish indie/rock chorus machine.

Combine the painfully honest and gut-wrenching songwriting expertise of Jake Buckley with a fearsomely charismatic frontman by the name of Paul ´Stav´ Mylonas, back it up with the relentlessly solid rhythm section, Paul ´PK´ King on drums and Adam Dziuba on bass, and you have a modern, original, infectious and catchy sound.

After a couple of years of ruthless gigging and writing, The Money emerge fresh out of the studio with debut EP Sparks, which was released and showcased at their launch night at Nottingham´s iconic Bodega Social, where the band absolutely killed a sold-out crowd with a completely new and polished set. Producer and mentor Wayne Proctor (who has worked with Producers including Jim Gianes, Mike Nilsen, Steve Evans, Matt Buttler) has been heavily involved with the progress thus far, adding his monumental pre-production skills to the band´s prolific songwriting work ethic. Result: a consistently evolving and expanding body of work, polished to a blinding sheen.

Already self-sufficient, well-oiled veterans of residencies all over the world, The Money are already making their mark. When the BBC´s Dean Jackson dropped the Money product on his show, it became the most-requested song by an unsigned band in the station´s history.

The Lads now sit pretty at the top of the unsigned scene in Nottingham after blowing away a packed Rock City, and a panel of respected judges, to win The Future Sound Of Nottingham competition. Their prize was a place on the main stage of the Notts major festival Splendour. The Money took to ‘the main stage with swagger and faultless style. They performed with the unfazed confidence of a band who could have been playing to five figure crowds for years’ said Leftlion magazine.
